Our Immediate Goal
The immediate plan of HOUSE OF NEIGHBOURS is to support a series of East Toronto communities with the necessities such as: food and other material support during the current Covid19 challenge. Our goal is to continue this form of support until the end of summer 2020 or until such a time this pandemic has been presented as a greater challenge to our target communities. The HOUSE OF NEIGHBOURS has been serving; elderly, families with children, single parents and other individuals with emotional, mental or physical challenges.
Our Midterm Goal
House of Neighbours is working to expand its operations to continue to support the communities its serves. After COVID19, House of Neighbours will expand services to be directed at educational, and financial support aimed at younger generations and marginalized communities. House of Neighbours will work towards eliminating poverty and dependency with the plan of building a foundation to which young people and families can envision.
Our Longterm Goal
The longer-term plan of HOUSE OF NEIGHBOURS is to expand its services throughout Canada and assist individuals and other organizations around the world to duplicate strategies to enable communities to move from a dependent based existence to one that is self-sustainable.
